Configure Applist Rule and Security Environment (Advanced)

For connections targeting Qlik Sense on Windows servers, two settings control which applications appear in the Applist. In the connection dialog, enable Show Advanced to expose these settings.

Applist Rule controls the path used to filter available apps. If unsure, leave as "App".

  • App - Shows all apps authorized for the connection user.
  • Stream - First retrieves all streams authorized for the connection user, then shows authorized apps in those streams.
  • Owner - Shows apps owned by the connection userid.

Security Environment sets the Qlik Security Rule "Context" value used to evaluate the security rule. If unsure, leave as "Hub".
