UI Security options require an active QSDA Pro Enterprise license.

QSDA Authentication Methods

Note: If you select both options, users choose an authentication method at login. If you configure multiple Qlik login servers in Admin > Connections, users can also select which Qlik server to use. If only Windows is selected, or only a single Qlik login server is configured, users go directly to login without a prompt.

Windows Authenticates QSDA users with Windows NTLM login.

Qlik Authenticates QSDA users through a Qlik Sense server (QSE or Cloud). This option requires at least one Connection configured as a Login Server. If you use a QSE server for login, you must install the qsda-login extension on that server.

Dynamic Users When checked, first-time users are added automatically, subject to the rules in Admin > Users & Security > UI Security Options.

Admin Password When set, users must enter this value to access most Admin pages. To deactivate the Admin Password, clear the input box.
